PHOTOS FROM ANOTHER ERA...

Some of the earliest photos of me show me walking around as a toddler - holding a camera. I shoot digitally now, but I have hundreds of rolls of film and slides filed away... I'll bring more of them out as time and inclination permits.

In the late 60's I had the good fortune to work as a staff photographer for the Philadelphia Folk Festival, and on assignments for magazines, newspapers and record companies. I had access to concerts and artists in a way few people get to see them, and shot thousands of intimate and personal images of many of the top acts of the period. Most have never been published. The photo below, of Janis Joplin at Philadelphia's old Spectrum, is from one of the four times I got to photograph her. I hope you enjoy them. Drop me a note if you do.
